Pastor Heath Abel

The Pastor of Covenant Lutheran Church for over 10 years, Heath encourages all to Love God, Love Others, and to Serve with Joy.

A native Texan, he graduated from Texas A&M University with both a bachelor's and master's degree. He became an ordained pastor within the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) after earning his Master's of Divinity through the Lutheran Seminary Program in the Southwest.

Heath is the husband of Erika Abel and father of daughters Elli and Alex. He enjoys time with his family, hiking, traveling, great spicy food, and conversations over a cup of coffee. He might be a little too enthusiastic playing ping pong at the Men's Group.
